Corporate History

April 1974 Osamu Sato, NTKJ President, founded the Japan Optical Technology Research Institute in Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture.
June 1978 The institute was reorganized into a limited company named Nihon Tokushu Kogaku Jushi Co., Ltd.
Capital: 3 million yen
The head office and plant were relocated to Itabashi-ku, Tokyo.
February 1982 A new plant was established at 3-7-10 Shingashi, Itabashi-ku, Tokyo, and the head office was relocated to the same address.
July 1984 Capital was increased to 9 million yen.
February 1986 A new plant, Kumagaya Dies Plant at 138-6 Mizugahara, Kumagaya City, Saitama Prefecture, was established.
July 1992 Capital was increased to 10 million yen.
May 1997 A new molding plant was established at 2686-1 Mochida, Gyoda City, Saitama Prefecture.
October 2005 The Gyoda Plant was relocated and expanded to become the Kumagaya Molding Plant.
